I was alone at the tour and I really enjoyed it. It was very nice to meet Franco the great! It was a very beautiful morning walk with a friend from the neighborhood. My only miss like was that the Gospel at the church looked very much like a tourist attraction and nothing more. And I would really love it if the tour could include the inside of Apoll o Theater but even at the end when the tour guide left me there to visit it on my own it was closed! A great moment was when I visited the inside of a house. I’m really grateful for that! Thank you guys! I loved it! Excellent job!

Carolyn did it absolutely wonderful. The only disappointmen that the gospel church happening was rather short of time and almost exclusively for/with tourists. For us this could last for at least 2 hours!
We surely return once to Harlem, Apollo,...

We were interested in seeing Harlem up close, but weren't sure the best and most informative way to do it. Since we had the opportunity to tour Harlem on a Sunday, we wanted to see the Gospel Church Service. We found your website on online and thought this would be perfect for a group of seven-- a more personal tour to see what it was all about. It was AWESOME!! Carolyn went above and beyond our expectations. She catered to what we were interested in seeing. We were so fortunate to meet Franco the Great on the tour! We would highly recommend Welcome to Harlem to anyone who really wants to see and learn about Harlem up close. Thanks so much Carolyn for a memorable day!!!
